I don't understand all the white knights coming to the defense of insurance companies who's sole purpose is to make money by fucking over their clients as much as possible. You'd think the insurance company would be happy to insure a vehicle that could never file a claim.
I ran into this issue years ago with progressive when I was going to take my street legal XR650 off my policy until I found out my entire policy rates were going to go up. Not just the rate of the single vehicle compared to what it was on the multivehicle policy but I would have had to pay more to insure just the Z rather than the Z and the bike. How the fuck does that make sense? Needless to say I kept the bike on the policy but it was also on my property the entire time.
